Sub-Aquatic Survivor’s 2011 Project – this year open to women only. The Tech Diver’s Boot Camp is a nine-day intensive training workshop for experienced (100 dives) divers desiring to move beyond the mundane and learn the foundations of technical diving, Advanced Nitrox and TRIMIX. |

Why a women’s-only tech diving boot camp? Does this mean the curriculum will be less demanding? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is the same intensive program that has been offered in previous years. It simply has the added intent of showcasing the competence of women in the arena of technical diving. Too often, women have commented that they have been minimized or blatantly turned away when they attempted to advance from recreational diving to technical diving. This boot camp is a place for women to gather that have the grit, determination, endurance, and desire to excel in a field historically dominated by men. The program is intense, the requirements unforgiving, and the instructors are hard-nosed; that’s why we call it boot camp! But, if you have what it takes and you are ready to challenge yourself to rise to the next level, we encourage you to join us as we place women divers center-stage in the Sub-Aquatic Survivor’s 2011 Project.
