May 2010 Newsletter

The Official Newsletter of Mike Ange

We have been away for a while

It has been a number of months since I sent out a newsletter and much has happened in that time. Changes with my position in the industry have freed me up to do a lot less paper shuffling and a lot more diving, and, of course,  teaching.  After years of spending weeks per year on an airplane, it has felt really good to throw my rebreather or cylinders in the back of my Jeep and just go dive from the quarries of the Carolinas to the wrecks of the Keys.
I  have had opportunities to revisit old haunts from my cave diving days including a number of dives in the pristine beauty of Eagle’s Nest.  Trips to Mexico and the Keys rounded out my spring and I am looking forward to more adventures in the coming months of summer.  It is easy to forget how much fun it is to visit your own backyard.  I have many adventures planned for the summer and I hope some of them will include you.  There is a fair amount of news to share so lets get to it.
