Our lighter side is a group of world travelers who have partied from Bangkok to Stockholm – from Cocos Island to the deserted outer banks of our home state of North Carolina. Our excursions have taken us from the tropics to the frigid waters of the frozen north and we logged a few thousand cutting edge dives on some of the most awe inspiring sites on the planet along the way! We are serious divers but our instructors are also bikers, auto cross racers, sky divers, published authors, pro photographers, pro videographers, European beer connoisseurs and margarita critics! We seize life, dive the world, have a great time doing it and sharing it with our students – past and present!
Our serious side is a staff of very serious instructors (our training philosophy) with decades of combined experience in technical diving, advanced recreational diving, public safety diving and diving in exotic locales. Our lead instructor is one of the most noted and published diving safety experts and instructor trainers in the world, Mike Ange. Mike developed and wrote the ground breaking column ”Lessons for Life” which was the number 1 article at “Scuba Diving Magazine” from 2001 through March of 09 (now published at SEAduction®.com), the author of “Diver Down” (McGraw Hill Publishing), hundreds of columns on diver training and 6 textbooks on technical diving, used by certifying agencies.
We cater to special interest groups of all sorts, from expediton divers who want to dive closed circuit rebreathers with schooling hammer head sharks in the remote pacific to groups of nudist looking for some relaxing dives on a remote out island retreat and mixed gas divers wanting to to touch those ship wrecks few have touched before.
Of course we are famous for our cutting edge training programs that have been covered in the popular dive media, like the Tech Diver’s Boot Camps, The Master Diver Universities and the Sub-Aquatic Survivor® competitive training programs. From entry level diving to advanced recreational specialties and cutting edge tech courses, we have instructors qualified to provide the program you desire. Train in the states or turn your training into a once in a lifetime expedition at a site guaranteed to take your breath away. We also offer training for underwater photographers, videographers (from instructors who have actually published photos in major mags and video segments on TV), divemasters and instructors at all levels.
If the average diving is leaving you unsatisfied, we can take you for a walk on the wild side. We train TRIMIX divers to depths of 330 feet and wreck penetration courses are our specialty. Of course, we can also provide any of the other courses it takes to get you to one of these goals. Perhaps a bubble free, quiet romp with the marine life is your desire – then we can provide you with rebreather training to meet that desire. If you are looking to expand your own underwater career we are a one stop shop training instructors at all of these levels.
