SSI Tech XR Advanced Nitrox Instructor Evaluation & Exam

This is a 1 to 2 day program designed to evaluate the SSI Instructor’s ability to teach the TechXR Advanced Nitrox Diver Programs.  Candidates will plan and supervise at least 1 technical dive, complete a watermanship assessment and a written examination. Prerequisites: Candidates must be SSI Instructors or equivalent qualified to teach Deep Diving, Nitrox and Stress & Rescue Diver Courses with 150 logged dives including 20 deeper than 80 fsw/24 msw.  They must also be certified as SSI Advanced EAN Divers or equivalent with 25 nitrox dives.  

Course Overview: 1 dive, 1 water skill session and 2 hours of academics and exams.  Instructors will cover standards & procedures, procedures for supervising technical divers and the procedures for technical dive planning for instructors at the Advanced EAN Level.
